My question posed was not to point fingers at radio stations. Let me please be clear from the start. Last week I posted a few comments about the quality of music coming from the studios. It was, and remains, my contention, that the music has to hit the quality levels of the national performers to ever have a chance of airing in major markets throughout our country and the world.

I know that the producers and engineers spend many hours perfecting their art and craft.
My own love for Doo-Wop, Jump Blues and Soul (all R&B to me, as is the best Beach Music) is all about equal. I remember in the old jukebox days, I didn't distinguish much between one and the other. My appreciation for what you think of as Beach, and what Kyle would call pure Carolina Beach Music (including the Bubblegum) was not something that I warmed up to easilly. It has something to do with being from Myrtle Beach, I think. We always sort of thought it was silly for people to sing...

Recently I've received a few emails wondering why I have not done a review on any CD's lately. Well, good question...Guess I'm slipping a bit! Actually I do get a little flack from artists when I say something less than favorable. My reviews are not meant to slam or put down an artists work as some seem to enjoy doing. I'm the type that looks at things like a DJ. Is it good enough for the dance floor or on the air? That's the question. There are many tunes out there I wouldn't touch...

Chris has worked his magic... again. Solid cuts throughout this CD may be one of Forevermore's best efforts to date. Superstar Craig Woolard has a follow up solo effort to the Cammy Award Song of the Year in 2002 - "What Am I Gonna Do Without You". I listened and watched Craig perform this one live at Fall SOS. You only thought you knew his vocal range. He wails in this one!
